Power Neighbourhood House isn’t an NDIS registered service provider but we can accept NDIS payment for programs.
If you would like to attend one of our programs and have an NDIS package, let us know and we can bill through that.
Our fees are charged at a minimal rate.
2021 NDIS Workshops with Pam Gatos
Pam is a Peer Support and NDIS Community Engagement Officer for Amaze.
Amaze is Victoria’s Autism Peak body.
Since 2016 we have had many workshops about the NDIS facilitated by Pam. The workshops that have run at PNH have been Autism specific and have helped many families in what can be a very overwhelming season.
Pam is an excellent facilitator and assists parents in their knowledge and skills. Pam ran group sessions at Power Neighbourhood House this year and also Webinars due to COVID-19 restrictions. Pam also had one to one sessions for parents with specific needs. Pam offers ongoing consultative support and assistance as required.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is a scheme of the Australian Government that funds costs associated with disability for people under 65. It isn’t income tested.
How to Access the NDIS:
You need to have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
Be aged less than 65 when you enter the NDIS
Be an Australian Citizen or hold an accepted type of visa.

In 2021 Amaze launched Autism Connect which is Australia’s first national autism helpline. Autism Connect is a free telephone helpline, email and webchat service, developed by Amaze and funded by the NDIS. It provides information, advice, and service referrals to support autistic people and their support networks. It operates Monday to Friday, 8am – 7pm
