ADULT ENGLISH & COMMUNITY EDUCATION GROUP

Worried about speaking in public?
Struggling with grammar, spelling and writing?
Come to our friendly Adult English Class, topics include Australian history and culture, literature, current events and more.
This is not a beginner class but is suitable for adults from diverse cultural backgrounds and native speakers who wish to gain confidence and improve their written and spoken English in a fun, creative environment.

MPOWER ME HOMEWORK CLUB

Extra help for primary school students.
Every Tuesday during school term. Come and get help with your homework, have fun and be creative.
Our homework club is run by qualified volunteer tutors.

TUESDAY EVENINGS DINNER

Camberwell Salvos invite you to be part of a group of people who enjoy some food together at Power Neighbourhood House. It’s potluck what food arrives!
We chat and then briefly discuss how following faith can make a difference to our lives and our community.
A variety of people have made it their place to be at 5:15pm on Tuesdays.
Children are welcome and we finish about 6:45pm, so it is not a late evening.
You are welcome to come and join us.

ART FOR HEALTH AND WELLBEING new

No art experience required, just a sense of fun!

Come and join us in exploring our inner creativity in a supportive and friendly space. Art is good for our health, it helps us to relax and refresh our inner batteries.
You will be provided with a range of creative ideas to work with. All art media will be provided.
This is an opportunity for you to connect with others, have fun and express yourself in a collaborative space. You will be professionally guided by our local art therapist Kay Salehi.

MENd - Men for a gender equitable society

A men’s group that meets monthly to discuss healthy gender roles.
In 2017, with a grant from Link H&C, we organised a play on dating violence to a secondary school.

Opportunity for young people (12-18 years) who live or study in City of Monash or surrounds to experience friendship in a safe, supported social setting. Particularly suitable for those on the Autism spectrum or with ADHD.
